The Great English Giveaway

OFFICIAL RULES

What you can win: Win a 1-Month Subscription to SpeakENG by Eleutian. This gets you access to the SpeakENG Online Course for a full month, plus a 15 minute session with Eleutian's certified ESL teachers.

How to Enter: To enter the contest, you need to respond to one of the official posts in the Learning English Group. In your post, you must tell us three things: 1) How you found out about italki 2) Why you are learning English 3) A funny or embarrassing English mistake you have made

You may use your own language. It must be in your own words, so do not copy anyone else's answer! Your response must include answers to all three questions in order to be an eligible entry into The Great English Giveaway.

Who can enter: Any registered italki member in good standing. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO WIN OR ENTER THE GIVEAWAY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Winners: italki will select the winners from all eligible entries based on the replies to one of the official posts. Winners will be notified with a message to their inbox on italki.com and a message to their email address of record with italki. Winners will be asked to write a review of their experience using the SpeakENG product after the completion of the 1-Month subscription.

Time length: Contest will begin on September 8, 2009 at 12:01 am China Standard Time, and will end on September 20, 2009 at 11:59 pm China Standard Time. Winners will be notified by italki on or before September 30, 2009.

DISCLAIMER: The Great English Giveaway is a promotion open to all registered member of italki in good standing who have listed English as one of the languages they are learning in their member profile. All international, federal, and local laws and regulations apply. The Great English Giveaway is void where prohibited. All materials submitted or comments posted become the sole property of italki. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable or failure to claim prize within thirty (30) days of notification being mailed will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. Potential winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and a Publicity Release (except where prohibited by law) within 10 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.
